Phu Tho has 16 athletes participating in the 2024 National Crossbow Championship
On October 11, at the Nui Coc Lake Tourist Area in Thai Nguyen Province, the 7th National Crossbow Championship of 2024 took place. The Phu Tho team has 16 male and female athletes competing in various categories: men’s individual, women’s individual, men’s all-around, women’s all-around, men’s pairs, women’s pairs, men’s team, and women’s team events.
The 7th National Crossbow Championship this year took place from October 11 to October 18, featuring 135 athletes from 11 provinces, including Bac Giang, Bac Kan, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Hoa Binh, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Quang Nam, Quang Ninh, Son La, and the host Thai Nguyen. The athletes competed in 24 individual and team events in two shooting positions: standing and kneeling.
At the end of the first day of competition, the crossbow team from the Fatherland achieved remarkable success, winning two gold medals: one by Dinh Cong Tuan in the men’s individual standing event and another by the women’s team—Hoang Thi Minh, Ngoc Thi Thuy Manh, and Dinh Thi Nguyen—in the women’s team standing event. Additionally, the men’s team, consisting of Phung The Ngoc, Le Van Ngoc, and Dinh Hong Phuc, secured a bronze medal in the men’s team standing event.
