Phu Tho newspaper won the national journalism award for agriculture, farmers and rural areas in Vietnam

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the award ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers“Union Luong Quoc Doan affirmed that the National Press Award on agriculture, farmers and rural areas is an important activity of the Central Vietnam Farmers” Union to welcome the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association for the term 2023 - 2028. This is also a specific activity to effectively implement Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW on agriculture, farmers and rural areas. The works participating in the award are highly practical, inspired by current life, and discover typical elements and examples of excellent Vietnamese farmers. Some articles are imbued with humanity about the determination of farmers in the new era. Many articles demonstrate high theoretical and in-depth expertise in solving current agricultural, farmer, and rural issues.

The Organizing Committee selected 150 best works for the preliminary round; From there, 55 works were selected, the best entries entered the final round. Among these, 26 works were selected for awards. At the award ceremony, many experts and scientists in the field of agriculture exchanged and discussed the advantages of propaganda work and discovered problems. ongoing issues in the life of agriculture, farmers, and rural areas in Vietnam.
