Phu Tho ranks 10/63 provinces and cities in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI)
On May 9, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) and the Provincial Green Index (PGI) in 2023. With 69.10 points, Phu Tho ranks 10th out of 63 provinces and cities with the best operating quality.
According to VCCI’s report, Phu Tho has a total evaluation score of 69.10 points, rising 14 places (from 24th in 2022) to rank 10th out of 63 provinces and cities on the Provincial Competitiveness Index. This is Phu Tho’s highest ranking ever. There are 7/10 PCI criteria in 2023 of Phu Tho province increasing, in which the province is highly appreciated by businesses for the labor training quality and business support policies. This result demonstrates the fair and objective assessment of investors and businesses, properly recognizing the tireless efforts of the political system and authorities of Phu Tho province in implementing the goal of constantly improving the quality and satisfaction of serving people and businesses.
