Phu Tho Shares Socio-Economic Management and Leadership Experiences with Cao Bang Province

On the morning of October 26, Comrade Vu Viet Van — Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee — along with leaders of several departments, boards, and sectors, worked with a delegation from the Cao Bang Provincial People’s Committee visiting Phu Tho province to exchange and learn from practical experiences.

On behalf of the working delegation, Permanent Vice Chairman Luong Tuan Hung expressed sincere gratitude to Phu Tho province for creating favorable conditions for the delegation to work and learn from practical issues currently facing the locality. The Permanent Vice Chairman of Cao Bang expressed hope to continue receiving attention, sharing, and support from Phu Tho province—especially practical experiences, effective methods, and approaches during task implementation to apply appropriately to local conditions. Through this, helping Cao Bang province step-by-step resolve difficulties, elevate management and steering efficiency, and fulfill socio-economic development goals.

Welcoming the delegation and sharing local experiences, Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van stated: Regarding lingering and prolonged projects, the Standing Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee directed the Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee to assign the Provincial People’s Committee to decisively deploy removal solutions following the “6 Clear Principles”: “Clear person, clear task, clear authority, clear responsibility, clear timeframe, and clear results”—while establishing Working Group 751 to directly resolve difficulties and bottlenecks. Thanks to active involvement across the political system, Phu Tho has to date completely resolved 77 out of 151 lingering, prolonged projects.

Regarding constructing and steering economic growth scenarios, Phu Tho province regularly reviews, updates, and adjusts growth scenarios matching practical realities—remaining steadfast in the 2026 GRDP growth target of 11% or higher.

Regarding public investment capital disbursement, to date, the entire province has disbursed over 12,600 billion VND, reaching 65.3% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.

At the working session, both sides focused on exchanging Phu Tho province’s experiences in resolving difficulties and bottlenecks for lingering, prolonged projects. Key areas included experiences in reviewing, classifying, and building handling options; organizing operations for Working Group 751; applying specific mechanisms and policies; handling projects subject to inspection conclusions, audits, or legal judgments; and coordination mechanisms between Party and governmental agencies...

Alongside these were experiences in building and steering economic growth scenarios; solutions to accelerate public investment capital disbursement progress; data applications in tracking, evaluating, alerting, and steering management—linking agency/unit responsibilities to task execution outcomes...

This also served as an occasion for both localities to share good practices and practical experiences in leadership, direction, steering, and executing socio-economic development tasks—contributing alongside the entire nation to achieve double-digit growth targets.
