Phu Tho Town plants 200m of “Flower Street - Train Line”
Responding to the “Train Line - Flower Street” movement of the Vietnam Women’s Union; with the goal of “One kind of flowers for each street - One destination for each station”. Recently, the Women’s Union of Phu Tho Town directed the Women’s Union of Phong Chau Ward to coordinate with Phu Tho Town Station to plant 200m of “Train Line - Flower Street” with 40 Huynh Lien flower trees at the campus of Phu Tho Town Station. (Phong Chau Ward).
Accordingly, Phu Tho town has three locations to plant “Train Line - Flower Street”: Km96+950, Km98+500, Km102+400 in Phong Chau, Hung Vuong and Thanh Vinh wards. The movement not only creates clean and beautiful train landscapes at the railway space - where there are rail tracks - but also promotes people’s awareness of environmental protection, contributing to building new rural areas and civilized cities.
