The 2025 National Beach Wrestling Youth Championship recently concluded in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, with Hanoi and Hue securing the overall team titles in the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively. The Phu Tho wrestling team, consisting of 12 male and female athletes competing in both the Championship and Youth Championship categories, delivered an impressive performance, earning a total of seven medals.
The Phu Tho wrestling team claimed seven medals at the 2025 National Beach Wrestling Youth Championship.
Of the seven medals won by Phu Tho’s athletes, Do Quynh Trang secured the sole gold medal in the women’s 80kg weight class. Silver medals went to Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh (women’s 60kg) and Ha Thi Phuong Thanh (women’s 80kg). Meanwhile, the team also brought home four bronze medals, claimed by Le Dai Phuc (men’s 80kg), Do Van Dat (men’s 65kg), Ha Thi Men (women’s 50kg), and Dinh Thi Ngoc Anh (women’s 60kg).

The 2025 National Beach Wrestling Youth Championship was held from March 12 to 22 in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, featuring nearly 350 wrestlers from 26 provinces and cities nationwide. The tournament showcased numerous thrilling and high-quality matches. Through this event, the sports sector will identify outstanding talents to prepare for international competitions later this year, as well as for the 2026 World Youth Olympic Games.
