On April 6, Mr. Tran Duy Dong — Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee — chaired a conference to review the Department of Science and Technology’s report on the progress of tasks implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo regarding breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation (Resolution 57).
Chairman Tran Duy Dong delivers keynote instructions at the conference.
According to the report, after nearly seven months of implementing Plan No. 7316/KH-UBND (issued October 22, 2025), local sectors and districts have exerted significant efforts to complete tasks assigned by the Central Government. To date, the province has no overdue tasks on the Central monitoring system regarding the execution of Resolution 57.

This draft includes 52 indicators (26 from the Central Government and 26 specific to the province), with clearly assigned presiding and monitoring agencies to facilitate supervision and evaluation.
Regarding the “Major Challenges” in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation for the first phase of 2026, the Department has synthesized and proposed 12 key provincial challenges based on proposals from various sectors.
In his concluding remarks, Chairman Tran Duy Dong highly commended the proactivity of provincial departments while pointing out specific shortcomings that need addressing. He demanded that heads of departments directly direct and decisively implement assigned tasks to ensure that science, technology, and digital transformation products are practical, closely linked to production and state management, and yield specific, measurable results.
