On March 4, the Phu Tho Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board held a conference to announce the decision of the Provincial People’s Committee regarding its establishment.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Manh Son presented a congratulatory flower basket to the board’s representatives.
During the conference, officials announced the Provincial People’s Committee’s decision on the establishment and restructuring of specialized agencies under its jurisdiction. The decision to form the Party Committee of the Phu Tho Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board was also made public, along with the appointment of its Executive Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Chairman, and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
The new board was created through the merger of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board of Transport, Civil, and Industrial Works with the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Manh Son, commended the leadership, civil servants, and employees of the former project management boards for their dedication and commitment to the restructuring initiative. He emphasized the importance of stabilizing operations swiftly, finalizing the draft decision on the board’s functions, responsibilities, and organizational structure, and submitting it for approval.
The Vice Chairman also instructed the board to expedite the transfer of public investment projects from various departments to its jurisdiction, strengthen management accountability, enhance professionalism, and accelerate the implementation of key projects. Additionally, he underscored the necessity of applying an autonomous, transparent, and public financial mechanism in project management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
In his acceptance speech, Pham Xuan Son, newly appointed Director of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board, expressed gratitude to provincial leaders for their trust. He pledged to lead the team in ensuring the seamless continuation of ongoing projects and the successful execution of future initiatives.
