Provincial Party Secretary Pham Dai Duong Attends Opening Ceremony and Casts Vote in Viet Tri Ward

On the morning of March 15, Mr. Pham Dai Duong – Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Election Steering Committee – attended the opening ceremony and cast his ballot for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 tenure. The event took place at the Tan Phu Residential Cultural House, Polling Station No. 18, Constituency No. 3, Viet Tri Ward.

The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Dang Hoang Giang – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Thai Quynh Mai Dung – full-time National Assembly Delegate of the Committee on National Defense, Security, and Foreign Affairs, and Vice Chairwoman of the Young National Assembly Delegates Group; along with leaders from Viet Tri Ward, the Provincial Party Office, and local media agencies.

At the polling station, voters exercised their right to elect representatives at three levels: the 16th National Assembly, the Provincial People’s Council, and the Viet Tri Ward People’s Council for the 2026–2031 tenure.

The opening ceremony was conducted solemnly, strictly following the guidelines of the National Election Council and the Ministry of Home Affairs. After being briefed on the voting process, Provincial Party Secretary Pham Dai Duong joined local voters in casting the first ballots.

Thanks to thorough preparations, the election proceeded smoothly. Voters arrived at polling stations very early, ensuring a serious, safe, democratic, and legally compliant atmosphere. Residents across the area expressed great excitement and enthusiasm.

According to the Provincial Election Committee, for the election of the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels (2026-2031 tenure), Phu Tho Province is set to elect 17 National Assembly delegates, 85 Provincial People’s Council delegates, and 3,062 Commune-level People’s Council delegates. The province has 6 National Assembly constituencies, 19 Provincial People’s Council constituencies, and 924 Commune-level constituencies with a total of 3,705 polling stations.

The inspection and sealing of ballot boxes were carried out rigorously and in accordance with the regulations.
