Second Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, 2020–2025 Term

On the afternoon of August 8, the Provincial Party Executive Committee held its second conference of the 2020–2025 term to implement personnel work and address several other matters within its authority. Comrade Dang Xuan Phong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, together with members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the conference.

The conference reviewed the proposal and conducted voting to recommend personnel for re-election as members of the 14th Party Central Committee; candidacy for membership in the 14th Party Central Committee; and candidacy for alternate membership in the 14th Party Central Committee.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dang Xuan Phong praised the sense of responsibility and democratic spirit of the members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, who reached consensus and completed the procedural steps in the personnel work. The Provincial Party Executive Committee assigned the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to direct the Provincial Party Committee’s Organization Commission to finalize personnel dossiers and the proposal to be submitted to the Personnel Subcommittee of the 14th National Party Congress, as well as to the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, the Politburo, and the Party Secretariat, in accordance with regulations.

Comrade Dang Xuan Phong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, along with the Standing Committee, presented flowers to comrades retiring under the regime.

After more than a month of implementing the two-tier local government model, the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the responsibility, proactiveness, effort, and decisive actions of its members, who have made important contributions to the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, ensuring the completion of a large workload in line with the guidance of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Party Secretariat.

To continue effectively implementing the two-tier local government system, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to focus on several key tasks. These include promptly stabilizing the organizational apparatus, arranging a suitably structured cadre team to meet the requirements of the new situation, concentrating on leadership and direction, thoroughly disseminating and strengthening ideological work, and creating high consensus among all officials, Party members, and public servants regarding the sound and deeply revolutionary policy of establishing a two-tier local government. The goal is to successfully organize the first Congress of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term.
