The fair theme for “the Lunar New Year of Kindness” in the Year of the Dragon 2024
In response to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society’s announcement of the Fair with the theme of “Lunar New Year (known as Tet) of Kindness” in 2024, the Provincial Red Cross Association collaborated with Yen Lap District to organize the fair in Minh Hoa commune, Yen Lap District on 16 January.
Families in difficult circumstances were given vouchers as part of the “Tet of Kindness” program. Each voucher allows the purchase of essential items such as clothes, rice, cooking oil, and rice noodles at a discounted price of “Zero VND”. At the same time, people were also entitled to free haircuts and calligraphy.
During the event, the Provincial Red Cross Society and King’s Pond Joint Stock Company distributed 200 Tet gifts worth 500,000 VND to 200 families in need and disadvantaged individuals in the Minh Hoa and Dong Lac communes.
