Total Retail Sales of Goods and Service Revenue Reach Nearly 120,600 Billion VND

In the first 9 months of 2026, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in Phu Tho province reached nearly 120,600 billion VND, an increase of 17.8% compared to the same period last year. In the third quarter alone, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue reached nearly 43,000 billion VND, up 23.6% year-on-year.

Purchasing power in the retail market in Phu Tho during the first 9 months of 2026 increased higher compared to the same period last year.

Commercial and service activities remained vibrant; market goods were diverse, and the supply of essential commodities was guaranteed. There were no instances of goods shortages, supply chain disruptions, or abnormal price hikes in the province. The distribution network continued to expand, with convenience store chains growing steadily in urban and residential areas.

Trade promotion and supply-demand matching activities were organized to support enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities in expanding their markets. E-commerce developed, creating additional channels for product introduction and distribution while driving digital payments. Along with these efforts, market inspection and control activities were strengthened.

In the remaining months of the year, the province will continue to closely monitor supply-demand dynamics and price developments; proactively prepare plans to ensure goods supply for production and consumption needs, particularly during holidays, Tet, and peak shopping periods.
