The Dam Lang area, located in Duc Cung Residential Group, has an estimated land use scale of approximately 10 hectares, with a capacity to receive about 500,000 m3 of construction solid waste and sludge. This is a low-lying marshy area that is difficult to cultivate, situated far from residential areas, and assessed as favorable for site clearance work.

However, through field inspection, PPC Vice Chairman Vu Viet Van considered the selection of the Dam Lang area for constructing a construction solid waste and sludge disposal site to be unsuitable.

The PPC Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Construction to lead and coordinate with relevant departments, sectors, and localities to continue reviewing, researching, and proposing suitable alternative locations for building the construction solid waste and sludge disposal site. The chosen location must satisfy requirements regarding flood drainage, environmental protection, and alignment with local development orientations.

In particular, priority should be given to selecting areas with low exploitation value for economic development, avoiding impacts on land funds that hold advantages for investment attraction. The construction of the disposal and treatment site must be calculated harmoniously with infrastructure development needs, environmental protection, landscape preservation, and sustainable development goals.
