These days, the main streets, alleyways, the Hung Kings historical site, and other historical sites related to the worship of the Hung Kings in the province are bustling with festive energy.
To celebrate the national holiday, Viet Tri city has hung nearly 3,000 red flags and fish-tail flags along the roads in preparation for the Hung Kings Festival.
The propaganda slogans focus on content such as: “The worship of the Hung Kings in Phu Tho is an intangible cultural heritage of humanity,” and "Xoan singing of Phu Tho is an intangible cultural heritage of humanity..."
300 billboards, posters, and large banners with content promoting the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary 2025 have been placed along the main streets in Viet Tri City.
The streets and neighborhoods are adorned with the bright red of national flags, fish-tail flags, banners, and slogans in preparation for the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary and the Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week 2025.
At the Hung Kings Museum, preparations for the special exhibition titled “Hung Kings Culture in the Flow of the Red River Civilization” are being quickly finalized.
As the festival approaches, the city is also focusing on enhancing public green spaces, improving lighting systems, and traffic signal lights.
Additionally, the maintenance and care of flower gardens and ornamental plants in city parks, squares, and public areas are being carried out to create a clean, green, and beautiful environment.
At Van Lang Park, the peach blossom trees in full bloom, with their vibrant pink color, are adorned with lanterns to create a striking visual highlight.
With thorough preparations for urban landscapes and environmental protection by all levels of government, the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary - Hung Kings Festival and the Fatherland Culture and Tourism Week 2025 are set to be a great success, leaving a lasting impression on every visitor as they journey back to their roots.
