Viet Tri Focuses on Project Implementation to Create New Highlights for the Central Urban Area

Viet Tri Ward is focusing on implementing a range of projects to improve landscapes and upgrade urban infrastructure, contributing to a more modern, civilized, green, clean and attractive appearance for the central area. Among them, two projects in the Hung Vuong Square and Dong Can Lake Park areas have been identified as key works, creating distinctive highlights in the landscape and public spaces of the province’s central urban area.

The project to improve the landscape of Dong Can Lake Park and the surrounding flower gardens and green spaces is being urgently implemented.

The Hung Vuong Square Lighting, Decorative Lighting and Fountain System Project has a total investment of approximately VND85 billion and is being implemented during the 2025–2028 period. A key feature of the project is an approximately 3,400-square-meter ground-level musical fountain, comprising around 1,000 shaped water jets, more than 1,000 DMX LED lights, and synchronized pumping, control and sound systems.

In addition, the project includes the construction of two elliptical fountains and an artistic LED lighting system, as well as improvements and additions to green spaces, landscape lighting and several public amenities.

Meanwhile, the Dong Can Lake Park and Flower Garden and Green Space Landscape Improvement Project near the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee has a total investment of approximately VND47 billion and is being implemented during the 2025–2027 period. The project focuses on upgrading the lighting system, adding sports equipment and children’s play areas, and constructing an artistic musical fountain incorporating a lotus-flower symbol in the central area of the lake.

The statue garden area will also undergo comprehensive improvements, including upgrades to sidewalks, planting beds, greenery, lawns, and decorative and lighting systems.

To ensure that the projects are completed and put into operation as soon as possible, Viet Tri Ward has asked contractors to proactively develop implementation plans, mobilize sufficient personnel and equipment, and organize construction in a scientific manner, ensuring that progress goes hand in hand with quality. During implementation, all project components must ensure consistency in architecture, landscape design and technical systems, while minimizing the need for adjustments or remedial work after completion. The ward has also requested that contractors pay particular attention to construction safety.
