1,114 candidates win prizes in the excellent student exam for grade 9 at the provincial level
In the entire province, 1,114 students won prizes in the excellent student exam for grade 9 at the provincial level in the 2023-2024 academic year, with 62 students winning first prize, 276 students winning second prize, 386 students winning third prize, and 390 students winning consolation prize.
Tran Quoc Khanh, class 9B, Hung Vuong Secondary School, Phu Tho town, received 18 points in History, making him the salutatorian of the entire province in the exam.
The provincial test for exceptional students in grade 9 for the 2023-2024 school year will have nine exam subjects: Informatics, English, literature, history, geography, chemistry, physics, math, and biology, with a total of 1,596 applicants. The exam is designed to identify and support students with outstanding academic accomplishments, providing opportunities for them to develop their abilities, creative thinking and to generate training resources for the following grade level.
