On the afternoon of July 28, Amata Phu Tho Urban Joint Stock Company conducted a survey to assess the availability of high-quality human resources at several universities and vocational colleges across Phu Tho Province. The delegation included international investors, business partners, and enterprises, alongside representatives from the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs and Department of Education and Training.

Established in 2025, Amata Phu Tho Urban Joint Stock Company is a subsidiary of the Amata Group, Thailand’s leading developer of industrial cities and smart urban developments.
In Phu Tho Province, the company is investing in the Doan Hung Industrial Park (Amata City Phu Tho), which is envisioned as a leading industrial hub in Vietnam’s Northern Midlands and Mountainous Region. Drawing on Amata’s extensive expertise in industrial estate infrastructure development, Amata City Phu Tho is expected to become a key destination for foreign direct investment (FDI), contributing to socio-economic growth and creating numerous employment opportunities for local residents in the years ahead.

During visits to Hung Vuong University, Phu Tho Vocational College, and Viet Tri University of Industry, representatives of Amata Phu Tho Urban Joint Stock Company and international investors explored the institutions' training capacity, academic disciplines, human resource quality, and future development orientations.
The delegation paid particular attention to training capabilities in engineering, technology, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, automotive engineering, and other disciplines aligned with enterprises' workforce demands.

Representatives of the investors discussed opportunities for collaboration in developing demand-driven training programs, expanding hands-on practice and internship opportunities at enterprises, and strengthening graduate recruitment. They also expressed interest in supporting the enhancement of educational facilities and training equipment to help cultivate a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the needs of both domestic and international investors.

During the working sessions, representatives of the province’s universities and vocational colleges proposed strengthening cooperation with Amata City Phu Tho Industrial Park in workforce training and human resource development. Discussions focused on designing curricula that better reflect industry needs, while creating more opportunities for students and lecturers to participate in company visits, practical training, and internships under appropriate support policies.
The institutions also expressed their hope of establishing long-term recruitment partnerships that would prioritize graduates for employment and provide modern training equipment, thereby enhancing educational quality and supplying the highly skilled workforce required by enterprises operating in Amata City Phu Tho Industrial Park.
