On the evening of February 1, at Hung Vuong Square (Viet Tri City), Phu Tho province solemnly organized a special political art program themed "Sacred Ancestral Land - Aspirations for Prosperity." The event celebrated the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party, commemorated the 96th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), and welcomed the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.
The “Vietnamese Historical Epic” performance
In her welcoming speech, Ms. Bui Thi Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee affirmed: The 14th National Congress of the Party took place at a moment of profound historical significance, as the entire nation strives to realize the aspiration of developing a prosperous and happy country, heading towards the centennials of the Party and the Nation. The success of the Congress is vivid proof of the flesh-and-blood bond between the Party and the People.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, delivered a welcoming speech at the program.
Ms. Bui Thi Minh emphasized: For Phu Tho province, this success provides immense encouragement and a new momentum for the Party, the government, and all ethnic groups in the province to remain united. The province strives to become one of the key growth poles of the Capital Region by 2030, and by 2045, to become a place where tradition meets modernity, blending ancestral cultural identity with developmental aspirations.

A large crowd of people gathered at Hung Vuong Square to watch the live program.
On the occasion of the New Year 2026, she called upon all officials, party members, soldiers, the business community, and citizens to continue promoting patriotism and the spirit of solidarity to build an increasingly civilized and beautiful Ancestral Land.
The program was staged as a comprehensive artistic performance featuring a blend of music, dance, and theatrical sketches. Divided into three chapters, it followed a continuous emotional journey from national origins and cultural convergence to the country’s aspirations in the new Spring. The performance featured People’s Artist Tu Long, alongside renowned singers such as Trong Tan, Duong Hoang Yen, Thanh Le, Minh Hai, and Tien Hung, together with artists and actors from the Lac Hong Theater and various local art troupes and schools.
Chapter I – “Sacred Origins - Faith in the Party”: This chapter opened an atmospheric and solemn artistic space, recreating the historical depth and sacred roots of the nation. It highlighted the “flesh-and-blood” bond between the Party and the People, reaffirming an ironclad faith in the Party’s leadership—the decisive factor in creating the internal strength that has led the Vietnamese revolution from one victory to another.
Chapter II – “Converging Colors”: A vibrant cultural symphony, this chapter honored Phu Tho as a crossroads of cultural excellence. It brought to life quintessential heritage values such as Xoan singing and Muong gongs. The fusion of folk music with modern orchestration created a colorful artistic tapestry, asserting the enduring vitality of traditional culture in the modern flow of development.
Chapter III – “Spring of the Nation - Aspirations to Soar”: This final chapter radiated a fresh, youthful spirit of Spring. Looking toward the future, it conveyed a powerful message of confidence, aspiration, and the nation’s determination in its new stage of development.
The program concluded with a grand chorus celebrating the Party and Spring, accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display that brought the emotions to a climax and left a lasting impression on officials, Party members, and the public.
By harmonizing ideological and political values with the performing arts, “Sacred Ancestral Land - Aspirations for Prosperity” stands as a profound socio-political artistic milestone. It has enriched the people’s spiritual lives, evoked national pride, and fostered a vibrant competitive spirit to welcome the 14th National Party Congress and the 2026 Lunar New Year of the Horse in the nation’s ancestral homeland.
