Bach Hac wins the Viet Tri City Open Boating Tournament
On April 13 (the 5th day of March in the year of the Dragon), at Van Lang Park Lake, Viet Tri City, the Viet Tri City Open Boating Tournament took place with the participation of 9 boating teams with 270 athletes from Viet Tri City (5 boating teams: Bach Hac, Trung Vuong, Du Lau, Phuong Lau, Song Lo) and 4 districts: Thanh Thuy, Cam Khe, Doan Hung, Tam Nong.
Participating in the competition, there were 22 people on each boat, including 20 rowers, one drum beater to keep the rhythm, and one person driving the wheel. The boating teams completed the boat race with a distance of 2.6km. After 9 teams competed in the knockout round, based on the teams' finishing times, the Organizing Committee selected 4 teams to compete in the Final round.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the boating team of Bach Hac ward (Viet Tri city); Second prize went to the boating team of Cam Khe district; The third prize went to the boating teams of Thanh Thuy district and Doan Hung district. Teams that won consolation prizes include Tam Nong district and 4 city boating teams from Viet Tri City, namely Phuong Lau, Song Lo, Du Lau, Trung Vuong.
