Brilliant Flags and Flowers to Celebrate National Day

In the final days of August, the atmosphere celebrating National Day on September 2 spreads across every road, village, and residential group in the province. From central streets to highland communes, Party flags, national flags, billboards, posters, and slogans are brilliantly decorated. Every street, corner, and countryside area is cleaned and beautified, contributing to a joyful and encouraging appearance that demonstrates the pride and solidarity of the people heading toward the nation’s major holiday.

In Tan Hoa Ward, the deep red of the national flag stands out along the roads and in front of every household. Residents proactively clean streets and alleys, touch up home grounds, and hang flags in accordance with regulations, creating a solemn atmosphere during these historical autumn days.

Ms. Mui Thi Mo, a resident of Tan Hoa Ward, shared: “During holidays and New Year occasions, especially every National Day, my family hangs the national flag in front of our house with pride. The red flag with a yellow star always reminds family members of the years of struggle and sacrifice by past generations so that the country can enjoy peace and prosperity today.”

Not only in urban areas, but in rural communes, landscaping and decoration work is also being deployed in a synchronized manner. Local government, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations communicate and encourage residents to hang the national flag, maintain environmental hygiene, and create bright, green, clean, and beautiful landscapes. As a result, the spirit looking toward National Day spreads from every family, village, and residential group to every single road.

Joining the atmosphere of emulation to celebrate National Day, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in Minh Dai Commune built a model flower garden in Minh Tam Village. The project saw the joint efforts of officials, union members, association members, and local residents, creating a landscape highlight while contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful living environment.

The flower garden includes species such as yellow trumpet flowers, crape myrtle, creeping jasmine, red ixora, Thai moss rose, and Madagascar periwinkle. The flowers are arranged appropriately for the space, forming vivid color patches that beautify the roads and residential areas. Along with that, flag-lined roads create brilliant colors in the autumn sunlight. This is not only a project to celebrate National Day, but also one that leverages the people’s strength to build rural landscapes. From the flower clusters planted today, awareness of environmental protection, landscape care, and building civilized residential communities continues to spread throughout the community.

Party and national flags fluttering in the autumn sun create a brilliant and solemn appearance. On this occasion, many villages and residential groups also implemented the building of “Solidary, Well-Off, and Happy Residential Communities” through meaningful activities such as constructing flag roads, flower roads, digital citizen corners at cultural houses, social welfare models, handing over solidarity houses, and giving gifts to disadvantaged students preparing for the new school year. These practical activities hold even greater significance as they strengthen community bonds and promote the people’s role as primary actors in building their homeland. Every project and task, whether large or small, carries the affection and responsibility of officials and residents toward their homeland.

In addition, localities guide and encourage residents to hang the national flag on time and properly; proactively clean up houses, village roads, and alleys. Many residential areas organize general cleanup sessions, clear brush, collect trash, and tend to flower roads, creating a clean and beautiful landscape to welcome the major holiday.
