On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, Mr. Tran Duy Dong – Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – visited and extended New Year greetings to several enterprises in Phu Ha Industrial Zone on the afternoon of February 10. He was accompanied by leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and Phu Tho ward.

The delegation visited Viglacera Corporation - JSC (the infrastructure developer of Phu Ha IZ), Innovation Vietnam Co., Ltd., and BYD Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd.
Resilience Amidst Economic Challenges At each stop, corporate leaders reported on their operations over the past year. Despite global economic headwinds, these units maintained stability, gradually expanded production, ensured jobs and income for workers, fulfilled state obligations, and actively participated in local social security programs.
Moving into 2026, the enterprises expressed their commitment to innovating operations and enhancing efficiency to adapt to the new global landscape, contributing further to the province’s socio-economic growth.

A Partnership for Sustainable Growth In his remarks, Chairman Tran Duy Dong highlighted the province’s outstanding achievements in 2025, notably a GRDP growth rate of 10.52%. He emphasized the crucial role of the business sector in driving growth, industrialization, and international integration.
The Chairman highly appreciated the efforts of these enterprises, particularly noting that despite 2025 being a challenging year due to U.S. countervailing duties, 2026 shows positive signals with new contracts and expansion projects underway. He reaffirmed that the Provincial People’s Committee and relevant departments would continue to provide the most favorable conditions for investors to foster a transparent and stable business environment for the 2026–2030 period.
Addressing Labor and Housing Needs Regarding corporate proposals concerning labor shortages, the Chairman directed the Industrial Zones Management Board and the Department of Internal Affairs to immediately coordinate and connect enterprises with local universities and colleges for human resource supply contracts.
The province also plans to accelerate Social Housing projects for workers in this area. This initiative aims to attract Phu Tho laborers currently working elsewhere, as well as workers from neighboring provinces, to settle and work in Phu Ha Industrial Zone.

BYD Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd. and Innovation Tuong Lai Vietnam Co., Ltd. are both exemplary FDI enterprises with large-scale production operations. Specifically, BYD Vietnam Electronics specializes in manufacturing computers and peripheral equipment. In 2025, the company’s revenue exceeded 3.7 billion USD, providing stable employment for over 15,500 workers with an average monthly income of over 10 million VND per person.

Innovation Vietnam Co., Ltd. focuses on the manufacturing and processing of consumer electronics. In 2025, the company recorded a revenue of over 6,500 billion VND, creating regular jobs for nearly 5,500 employees with an average monthly salary of approximately 10 million VND.
Entering 2026, both companies have secured major orders and plan to expand production by constructing additional workshops. This expansion is expected to increase BYD Vietnam’s total workforce at Phu Ha Industrial Zone to approximately 20,000, while Innovation Tuong Lai Vietnam aims to reach 10,000 employees.
