On the morning of April 7, Mr. Bui Duc Hinh — Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council — chaired a reception and working session with H.E. During the reception, Chairman Bui Duc Hinh expressed his delight in welcoming the Ambassador and the delegation to Phu Tho province. Providing an overview of the locality, the Chairman noted that with a land area of over 9,300 km2, a population of more than 4 million, and an economic scale reaching approximately 16 billion dollars in 2025, Phu Tho stands as a key growth pole and the central hub of the Northern Midland and Mountainous region. The province is focusing on development driven by industry, services, and tourism, backed by synchronized infrastructure and an open investment environment, particularly in high-tech industrial zones and spiritual-ecological tourism.

Reflecting on their partnership, Chairman Bui Duc Hinh recalled the strong friendship established between the former Hoa Binh province and Mongolia’s Tuv province since 2017. Building on this foundation, Phu Tho hopes the Ambassador will continue to serve as a bridge to open a new phase of deeper cooperation with Mongolian partners, focusing on key areas: investment, trade, and industry; tourism, services, and cultural exchange; and increasing delegation exchanges and organizing arts and sports activities to strengthen people-to-people friendship.
Ambassador Jigjee Sereejav presents the book “The Secret History of the Mongols” to Chairman Bui Duc Hinh.
Speaking at the session, Ambassador Jigjee Sereejav sincerely thanked the provincial leaders for their warm hospitality. He highly praised Phu Tho’s remarkable development following its administrative consolidation and affirmed that, in any capacity, he would always support and promote cooperation between Mongolian localities and Phu Tho, especially in areas of mutual strength.
