Dress Rehearsal for the 2026 “Square Star Colors” Gameshow

On the evening of September 28, at Hung Vuong Square, the Organizing Committee of the 2026 “Square Star Colors” Gameshow within the Military Region 2 armed forces held a full dress rehearsal for the program.

According to the plan, the “Square Star Colors” Gameshow features 4 competing teams from the provinces of Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, and Son La.

During the dress rehearsal, the Organizing Committee coordinated the entire program framework. Accordingly, the competing teams competed across 4 rounds: Greetings, Wise Square Star, Strong Square Star, and Talented Square Star, combined with interactive sessions with the audience.

The content of the competition rounds focused on demonstrating legal, defense-military knowledge, skills, physical fitness, and talents of the self-defense militia forces.

The teams demonstrated a clear understanding of the program framework, rules, and content for each round, proactively reviewing and thoroughly preparing the required materials according to the Organizing Committee’s instructions.

Through the dress rehearsal, the teams essentially executed the script correctly, coordinated smoothly, met time requirements for each part, and stood ready for the official event.

Following the dress rehearsal, the Organizing Committee held a meeting requiring all units to review the entire script and program structure while meticulously preparing all logistical conditions. Operational plans to ensure security, order, medical support, power supply, and publicity also need careful preparation to guarantee a successful event.

According to the schedule, the “Square Star Colors” Gameshow will be recorded at Hung Vuong Square on the evening of September 29, 2026.

This serves as a practical activity celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Military Region 2 Armed Forces (October 19, 1946 – October 19, 2026) and its conferment of the Hero of the People’s Armed Forces title.

The program aims to disseminate, educate, and raise awareness of laws regarding self-defense militia, national defense, and military affairs, reflecting the results of building, training, and operations of the self-defense militia forces. Thereby, it contributes to educating tradition and elevating the awareness and responsibility of cadres, soldiers, and the public in building and defending the Fatherland.
