On December 24, Hung Vuong University worked with the delegation of the Department of Education and Sports of the Northern Lao provinces and received 18 Laotian students from 3 provinces: Luang Namtha, Oudomxay, and Phongsaly to study at the school in the 2024-2025 school year.
Hung Vuong University leaders presented souvenirs to the leaders of the Department of Education and Sports of the 3 Northern Lao provinces.
Since 2018, Hung Vuong University has been assigned by the province to train Laotian students. So far, 300 Laotian students have graduated and returned to work in the country. After graduating and returning to the country, they all have jobs and have made good use of their trained professional skills, many of whom hold leadership positions and have made many contributions to their homeland.
The ceremony to receive 18 Laotian students took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the school continues to be assigned the task of training Laotian students, demonstrating the special affection between Phu Tho province and the brotherly provinces of Northern Laos. Hung Vuong University is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for students in terms of accommodation, living, and studying. The school leaders, the Department of Education and Sports of Northern Lao provinces, and the Department of Foreign Affairs hope that Laotian students will promote the spirit of self-awareness, strictly comply with the school’s rules and regulations, take advantage of every opportunity to study and practice Vietnamese, proactively acquire knowledge, and complete the specialized study program well, contributing to preserving and fostering the special friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
