Inauguration of 4 PVEP-Sponsored Projects in Dan Chu Commune

On September 27, Dan Chu Commune held an inauguration and sign-board unveiling ceremony for social welfare projects sponsored by the PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP).

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Khac Hieu, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Thien Bao, General Director of PVEP; leaders of the Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of Dan Chu Commune; alongside representatives of local agencies, units, enterprises, and schools.

With PVEP’s sponsorship, Dan Chu Commune implemented 4 projects, including: Dan Chu Kindergarten – Bao Thanh Branch; Dan Chu Medical Station; a STEM classroom at Dan Chu Lower Secondary School – Ha Giap Branch; and a STEM classroom at Dan Chu Primary School – Tri Quan Branch.

These are essential projects deployed in the context of Dan Chu Commune having completed the merger of 4 administrative units: Gia Thanh, Bao Thanh, Tri Quan, and Ha Giap. Following the merger, local facility systems remained unsynchronized, while investment demands for education, healthcare, and civic amenities continued to rise.

The Dan Chu Kindergarten – Bao Thanh Branch project features a 2-story classroom building with a construction footprint of 741.67 m2 and a total floor area of 1,461.26 m2, along with multiple auxiliary items. Total investment reached 10.18 billion VND, of which PVEP contributed 5 billion VND. Construction began in January 2026 and reached completion in early September 2026, serving the new school year on time.

The Dan Chu Medical Station was constructed with a total investment of 5 billion VND, with 100% of capital sponsored by PVEP. The project includes a 2-story medical examination and treatment building alongside auxiliary items, with construction commencing in July 2025 and finishing in July 2026. Bringing the facility into operation contributes to improving physical conditions and elevating initial medical examination, treatment, and healthcare services for local residents.

The two STEM classrooms at Dan Chu Lower Secondary School – Ha Giap Branch and Dan Chu Primary School – Tri Quan Branch received total investments of 2.5 billion VND and 2.7 billion VND, respectively. The facilities are equipped with electrical, lighting, LAN network systems, and specialized equipment serving STEM education activities, creating modern learning spaces to support schools in innovating educational methods and fostering students' creative capacities.

The combined investment for all 4 projects totaled 20.38 billion VND, with PVEP sponsoring 14.3 billion VND and the remaining funds covered by local budget allocations.

At the ceremony, representatives of Vietcombank Phu Tho presented a sponsorship package valued at over 100 million VND to purchase equipment serving operations at the Dan Chu Medical Station. This practical sponsorship was facilitated through connections by PVEP and General Director Nguyen Thien Bao personally.

Leaders of Dan Chu Commune expressed gratitude for the partnership of PVEP alongside agencies, units, and enterprises; affirming their determination to coordinate the management and efficient utilization of the projects. Through this, they aim to raise education quality, public healthcare, and step-by-step complete the local social infrastructure system.

In the coming time, Dan Chu Commune will continue reviewing essential infrastructure investment needs, prioritizing urgent projects with direct impacts on residents' lives; while mobilizing resources and stepping up investment socialization to gradually complete infrastructure systems, contributing to the effective implementation of socio-economic development targets.
