Leaders successfully fulfill tasks

The Provincial Party Committee of the Business Sector (PPCoBS) has 86 affiliated party organizations with 3,791 party members and over 30,000 employees. To help the Party grassroots organizations perform their tasks effectively, the PPCoBS directed the Party grassroots organizations to continue consolidating harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises; ensuring job maintenance; and gradually improving workers' material and spiritual lives.

Although 2023 presented many challenges, the Standing Committee of the PPCoBS, in collaboration with the efforts of businesses in the sector, has been able to maintain the rebounding, development momentum, and achieve encouraging results. Some basic indicators such as revenue, profit, State budget payment, and employee income in most enterprises have met or exceeded the annual plan, providing jobs for over 30,000 people with an average monthly income of 7.92 million VND per person.

To achieve this certain result, the PPCoBS has instructed the grassroots committees to regularly work with business leaders to spread the Party’s guidelines, policies, and laws on investment and socio-economic development. This includes the implementation of the Action Program No. 194/Ctr-UBND, dated January 19, 2023, by the Provincial People’s Committee. The program aims to carry out Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP, dated January 6, 2023, of the Government, which focuses on the main tasks and solutions to implement the socio-economic development plan, State budget estimates, and improve the business environment, thereby improving national competitiveness in 2023. It is also to direct Party committees, coordinate with enterprise leaders to maximize existing resources and adjust production and business plans to reflect the current situation.

The PPCoBS continues to direct the effective implementation of the campaign “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” in the Division; expand online promotion and sales through the Division’s Party Committee booth on the province’s e-commerce trading floor, as well as through the Zalo group "Introduction of products of the Provincial Enterprises." Moreover, the PPCoBS encourages enterprises to strengthen links, improve the business environment, invest in cooperation, facilitate the digital transformation process, apply new and modern technologies to production and business, build supply chains, and promote the movement of learning, creative labor, research, and the application of technical improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve product quality, and market competitiveness. In 2023, businesses in the Division had 1,321 initiatives and solutions, 30 production rationalizations, three provincial initiatives, and two scientific tasks, resulting in hundreds of billions of VND in business.

Under the drastic leadership of the PPCoBS, the results of the Party Committee’s tasks in 2023 largely met the set targets and requirements; the superior vertical branch graded the Party Construction Committees, Offices, and Unit unions as "Excellent completion of tasks."
