The street is lined with ornamental trees for the Tet holiday
With just over half a month until the Lunar New Year, Tet-themed trees have begun to appear down the street, catering to people’s shopping needs. While walking along Nguyen Du Street in the Minh Phuong urban area near Hung Vuong Square in Viet Tri City, you can see colorful trees such as peach, kumquat, pomelo, and flowers, creating a feeling that Tet is just around the corner.
In recent years, in addition to peach blossoms and kumquat trees, many consumers have chosen to display pomelo trees on New Year’s Day.
To transport large trees, cars must have cranes that can lift them.
The price of this year’s kumquat has not changed significantly compared to the previous year; the selling price ranges between 300,000 VND and 3 million VND per tree, depending on the type.
Ornamental plants are given proper care and attention once they are sold. This ensures that they remain healthy and beautiful.
In addition to kumquat, peach, and orchids have also been sold a lot with eye-catching colors. According to shop owners, a vase of orchids costs from 3 VND to 60 million VND this year.
They not only sell ornamental plants for the Tet holiday but also provide rental services.
The first kumquats were transported to the “new home”.
Shopkeepers set up shacks to look after the trees during the sale.
