New model rural commune
In early 2024, Son Vi commune, Lam Thao district received good news: Recognized as the first new model rural commune of Phu Tho province. This is not only the joy and honor of the Party Committee, government and people in the commune but also the common pride of Lam Thao district and Phu Tho province.
Responding to the movement of all people uniting to build a cultural life, Son Vi people have actively participated in sports activities and preserved the traditional cultural beauty.
Groups 6 and 10 have mobilized 100% of resources from the people to build a smart residential area model.
Village roads and alleys are kept clean; People actively plant flowers and ornamental plants to create new appearance and vitality for the countryside.
Promoting the local tradition of studiousness, schools in the area focus on well implementing the goal of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training: “Focus on developing intelligence and physicality, forming citizen qualities and abilities, discovering and fostering talents, and career orientation for students”.
The commune focuses on agricultural development based on existing potentials and strengths, actively contributing to reducing the poverty rate to 1.55%.
