On the evening of December 22, in Tan Lac commune, the Department of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the Tan Lac Commune People’s Committee, held the opening ceremony of the 2025 Exhibition Fair for Signature Products from Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas.
Leaders from various departments and Tan Lac commune officials press the button to officially open the fair.
With the theme: “Green, Sustainable Agriculture and Digital Technology Application,” the 2025 fair aims to boost commercial development, promote signature products, support goods consumption, and bridge the supply-demand gap. It also focuses on expanding consumer markets in mountainous, remote, and isolated areas.
The fair features over 100 booths from highland communes, cooperatives, and household producers. The center of attraction is the Red Pomelo, alongside a diverse catalog of agricultural products, consumer goods, and production machinery. Furthermore, the exhibition spaces vividly recreate the unique cultural traits and tourism potential of ethnic minority communities.
This year’s exhibition provides a golden opportunity for entities to promote their products, seek partners, and expand markets. At the same time, it allows tourists and local residents to access prestigious products with bold regional identities. The fair also hosts various cultural and sporting exchange activities, such as an Open Air Volleyball Tournament, male and female tug-of-war, and crossbow shooting competitions.
The 2025 Exhibition Fair in Tan Lac is expected to become a key highlight in Phu Tho province’s trade promotion efforts. It contributes to promoting local product brands, supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and boosting industry and handicrafts. By connecting businesses with the community, the event plays an active role in the sustainable socio-economic development of the locality and the mountainous ethnic minority regions in the coming years.
The fair will take place from December 22nd to 28th, 2025.
