As part of the national target program on economic development for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas during the 2021-2025 period, Phu Tho province has allocated over 130 billion VND to education and training development, aiming to enhance the quality of human resources.
The classrooms and dining hall of Dong Son Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Tan Son district are being rapidly completed and will be ready for use in the 2025-2026 school year.
This funding is being directed toward the construction of several boarding schools for ethnic minorities in Thu Cuc, Kim Thuong, Xuan Dai, Xuan Son, and Dong Son communes (Tan Son district); Trung Son district; and Yen Lap district. Additionally, investments are being made in Kha Cuu Commune Secondary School and Thanh Son Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Thanh Son district).
The program also supports the repair and maintenance of school buildings and dormitories, digital transformation in teaching and learning management, vocational training and career counseling, and the procurement of machinery and equipment for training. Beneficiaries include the Provincial Boarding Vocational Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities and the Continuing Education—Vocational Education Centers in Tan Son, Yen Lap, Doan Hung, and Thanh Thuy districts.
