As of July 31, the last grassroots-level Party organizations in Phu Tho had successfully held their congresses for the 2025–2030 term, making the province one of the first three in the country to complete both intermediate and grassroots-level Party congresses—30 days ahead of the deadline set by the Central Committee. This achievement reflects not only impressive progress but also the province’s deep sense of responsibility, methodical organizational capacity, and ambition to rise from a land steeped in history, culture, and revolutionary tradition.

As the sacred ancestral land of the Vietnamese people, Phu Tho has set an exemplary precedent in this political endeavor. From July 18 to 31, all 152 Party organizations under the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee successfully held their congresses for the 2025–2030 term, completing the task 30 days ahead of the timeline directed by the Central Committee. Behind these figures lies a process marked by strong leadership, clear vision, and determined action from the Provincial Standing Committee, bolstered by the concerted efforts of the entire political system and the widespread support of local officials, Party members, and residents.
From the early days of implementing the two-tier local government model, the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee demonstrated political foresight by urgently directing preparations for the congresses under the guiding principle: no passivity, no formalism, and no being swept along by the calendar. Preparatory steps—from drafting documents and organizing personnel to logistics, communications, and ensuring public order—were carried out in a structured, results-oriented manner, rooted in a spirit of innovation and practicality.

One notable highlight was the issuance of specific guidance on drafting Party congress documents. This guidance not only defined structure and content but also emphasized honest, situation-based assessments and centered on evaluating the implementation of previous resolutions as the basis for developing realistic and actionable goals for the upcoming term. This approach exemplifies a commitment to truth, objectivity, and transparency—core principles in today’s Party-building work.
Alongside content orientation, the establishment of seven working groups—each led directly by a member of the Provincial Standing Committee to review documents from 152 Party organizations—and 29 delegations to attend and oversee congresses, was more than a technical move; it reflected a breakthrough in leadership thinking.
Phu Tho also promptly and comprehensively completed personnel work following administrative restructuring. The Provincial Standing Committee appointed 4,023 officials to communal Party executive committees and 1,547 to standing committees, while also finalizing leadership positions for People’s Councils and People’s Committees in 148 communes and wards. This laid a solid foundation for a stable, unified, and effective government apparatus immediately following the congresses.
Looking at the success of this congress cycle, it is clear once again that Phu Tho is not only a land of historical significance but also a beacon for future development—where Party leadership is closely tied to reality, to the people, and to the aspiration for sustainable growth. A strong Party organization, renewed political thinking, and focused action can overcome any development challenge. This is not only a lesson for Phu Tho but also an inspiration for other localities striving to realize the resolutions of the National Party Congress in the new era.
