On December 17, the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Vietnam Journalists Association to organize the award ceremony for works participating in the “Press and propaganda award on economical and efficient use of energy in 2024”.
The organizing committee awarded B prizes to authors and groups of authors.
The “Press and propaganda award on economical and efficient use of energy in 2024” was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Vietnam Journalists Association, with the aim of propagating, promoting, and implementing the National Program on economical and efficient use of energy in the period of 2019-2030 approved by the Prime Minister. The award aims to raise awareness and responsibility of the community in the economical and efficient use of energy; honor outstanding authors and works on energy saving and efficiency at the central and local levels; at the same time, create a useful playground for journalists writing on energy topics; and improve the quantity and quality of propaganda works on energy saving and efficiency in the mass media.
The organizing committee awarded encouragement prizes to authors and groups of authors.
The organizing committee of the award said that it had received positive responses from central and local press agencies, and the works submitted to the award had achieved high levels in both quantity and quality compared to the previous year. The evaluation of the Award Council showed that the overall quality of the works submitted to the award was relatively even; the content of the works was quite diverse, addressing many topics in energy-saving work.
Out of a total of 492 entries, the Final Jury selected 35 best entries to award prizes in the form of one special prize in the television newspaper category, four A prizes, seven B prizes, 13 C prizes, and 10 encouragement prizes for the print, electronic, radio, and television categories. Phu Tho Newspaper was honored to receive one B prize and one encouragement prize in the print newspaper category.
