Phu Tho Participates in the 2024 International Food Festival
From December 7-8, Phu Tho participated in the 2024 International Food Festival, showcasing over 20 typical rural products, OCOP products, and specialties of the province.
With the theme “Gastronomy of Unity,” the 2024 International Food Festival was held at the Van Phuc Diplomatic Compound in Hanoi, featuring 125 booths from 45 foreign agencies, international organizations, foreign cultural centers, provincial and city foreign affairs offices, businesses, and units from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the festival, Phu Tho displayed a booth introducing more than 20 typical rural products, OCOP products, and specialties with export potential, such as: Thanh Son sour meat, Doan Hung grapefruit, Phu Tho green tea, cassava cakes, banh chung and banh giay from the Land of Ancestors, purified water, and URA beer.
The festival served as a cultural exchange, enhancing mutual understanding among countries, and provided an opportunity to introduce Vietnam’s culture and people to international friends. Activities at the event included showcasing the distinctive cuisines of Vietnam and other countries, cultural exchanges, and displaying and selling local specialties.
