Phu Tho wins 7 gold medals at the National Swimming-Diving Club Championship
After the first 2 days of competition on August 24-25 within the framework of the National Swimming-Diving Club Championship Round II 2024 held at the Provincial Sports Complex, the young swimmers of Phu Tho won 7 gold medals and 8 bronze medals, ranking 4th in the overall delegation.
The Organizing Committee awarded the Gold Medal to swimmer Nguyen Hoang Linh (ranked 1st) of Phu Tho in the 200m freestyle for women in the 12-13 age group.
Of the 7 Gold Medals won by Phu Tho Swimming-Diving, the most anticipated athlete is swimmer Nguyen Hoang Linh, who won 4 in the events: 200m compulsory medley, 100m freestyle, 200m butterfly, and 200m freestyle in the 12-13 age group for women. The remaining 3 gold medals were won by Nguyen Thanh Tra in the 100m fins doubles for women in the 14-15 age group, Trinh Tien Dat in the 100m fins doubles for men in the 14-15 age group, and Trieu Anh Nguyet in the 50m fins spout for women in the 13 and under age group.

Tomorrow, August 26, 36 competitions will continue to take place within the framework of the National Swimming and Diving Clubs Round II 2024. With the home field advantage and enthusiastic cheers from the audience, the young swimmers of Phu Tho Swimming and Diving promise to continue to bring gold to the team to contribute to improving the overall performance of the team.
