Provincial-level English club exchange for high school students in the 2023 - 2024 school year

During the two days of January 25 - 26, the Department of Education and Training organized an exchange of provincial-level English clubs for high school students in the 2023 - 2024 school year.

The organizing committee awarded souvenir flags to participating units.

Participating in the exchange were 16 English Clubs belonging to 16 high schools in the province. Clubs will go through two contents: Who is the best orator and Project.

Leaders of the Department of Education and Training awarded the first prize to Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted.

The English Club exchange program gives students useful opportunities to exchange, learn, demonstrate their English skills and practice the skills of 21st century global citizens such as: Teamwork skills , problem solving skills, information technology application skills... This is also an opportunity for schools, teachers, and parents to evaluate the abilities of their students and children.

In the second part of the competition, clubs presented their prepared projects.

At the end of the exchange, the Organizing Committee awarded the collective First Prize to Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted; Collective second prize for three schools: Thanh Thuy High School, Viet Tri High School, Huong Can High School; Third prize for five schools: CLC Van Lang High School, Viet Tri Industrial High School, Doan Hung High School, Ha Hoa High School, Cam Khe High School; Collective consolation prize for seven schools: Hung Vuong High School, Long Chau Sa High School, Phong Chau High School, Phuong Xa High School, Tan Son High School, Thanh Son High School, Xuan Ang High School. The collective sub-award “Most Creative” went to Viet Tri Industrial High School; The collective sub-award “Best project presentation” went to Huong Can High School.

The organizing committee also awarded the first prize in individual speech to Pham Dang Minh, a 10th grade English student, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted; Second prize in individual rhetoric for three individuals; Third prize for individual eloquence for five individuals; Consolation prize for individual eloquence for seven individuals.
