Provincial-level English club exchange for secondary school’s students

On January 10, the Department of Education and Training organized a provincial-level English club exchange for secondary school’s students in the 2023-2024 school year.

Participating in the exchange were 13 delegations from secondary schools under the Department of Education and Training of 13 districts, cities and towns in the province. Clubs will go through two speeches and presentations about the project in English, then answer two questions from the jury.

Through English club exchanges, it gives students a useful opportunity to demonstrate their English skills and gain new knowledge; Above all, exchange, share and learn and confidently become global citizens. This is also an opportunity for Departments of Education and Training, schools, teachers, and parents to evaluate the abilities of their students and children.

The collective First Prize went to the Department of Education and Training of Viet Tri City

At the end of the exchange, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize of individual eloquence to Nguyen Tien Thanh, student of class 9A1, Phong Chau Secondary School, Phu Ninh district; Second prize in individual rhetoric for two individuals; Third prize for individual eloquence for three individuals; Awarded consolation prizes to eloquent individuals and sub-prizes to “most impressive” individual winners to 7 individuals. The collective First Prize went to the Department of Education and Training of Viet Tri City; The most creative collective award went to the Department of Education and Training of Phu Ninh district; The sub-award for the best project presentation went to the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Ba district; In addition, second prizes were awarded to two collectives, third prizes to three collectives and consolation prizes to 7 collectives.
