More than VND1,000 billion invested in the project connecting Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway with Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway
Implementing Decision No. 1657/QD - BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport (MOT) on approving the investment policy of the investment project connecting Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway with Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway, Director Phu Tho Department of Transport has just decided to assign the task of organizing the preparation of a Feasibility Study Report (step of preparing and submitting investment project for approval) for the investment project of the route connecting Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway with Tuyen Quang Expressway. - Phu Tho for the Management Board of investment projects for construction of traffic, civil and industrial works in Phu Tho province.

Accordingly, the project has a starting point connecting to Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho highway in Phu Tho town; The end point connects to the existing Ho Chi Minh Road, total length is about 2.6km with a 4-lane highway investment scale, the bridge width is suitable for the road bed gauge. Total project investment is about 1,098.42 billion VND using central budget capital. Project implementation time is from 2023, basically completed in 2025.
When completed, the project will improve exploitation capacity, reduce traffic accidents, and improve investment efficiency on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressways; Gradually complete the road network planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; support socio-economic development of Phu Tho province; contributing to implementing the goals of Resolution 11-NQ/TW of the Politburo on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in the Northern midlands and mountainous regions.
