Replicate “model roads”

After several years of execution, the “All People Unite to Create a Cultural Life” campaign in Ha Hoa district has yielded numerous excellent benefits. Many new models and best practices have emerged, including the youth tree line, women’s flower street, security and order fence gate, security and order lighting, and security cameras. Outstanding are the constructions of “model roads” that are bright, green, clean, and beautiful is done simultaneously, adding to a new look in the countryside.

We followed in the footsteps of the President of the Women’s Union (Women’s Union) of Bang Gia commune, Ha Hoa district, and toured the floral path in Area 7. Members of the women’s association of Branch 7 of Bang Gia communes implemented the “Women’s Flower Street” model to create the 1,200-meter-long floral trail with over 200 yellow primrose plants.

To date, the Women’s Union of Ha Hoa district at all levels has built 44 flower Streets with a total length of over 22km with a number of flower varieties such as yellow scallion, cassia, purple evening primrose... The construction of a flower street model has contributed to beautifying the landscape and environment of new rural communes.

​ Leaving Bang Gia, we arrived at Yen Ky commune, walking on the clean and spacious road leading to the Commune People’s Committee. Along both sides of the road are rows of neatly trimmed green trees and spacious tile-roofed houses. All is to create a picture of a bright, developed countryside.

With the goal of creating conditions for people in the area to travel more easily, contributing to ensuring security and order, towards the goal of building new rural areas, in the past year, Ha Hoa District Youth Union advised the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee to support investment capital from the national target program to implement the construction of the youth project “model new rural street” in zone 5, Yen Ky commune. The project was carried out with the participation of union members, youth and people. 200 new plants have been planted and a lighting system with a length of 1km has been installed. In just a short time, on February 5, 2024, the project was handed over and inaugurated.

Secretary of Ha Hoa District Youth Union Truong Nguyen Quan said: "Since its implementation, the project has received the attention of union members, young people as well as local people. This is a practical and meaningful activity aimed at promoting the proactive role and responsibility of the Youth Union in implementing the National Target Program on building new rural areas. In the coming time, the District Youth Union will continue to replicate and spread the construction work to other localities in the district."

By implementing the construction of bright, green, clean and beautiful streets in Ha Hoa district, it has raised people’s awareness, contributing together with the Party Committee and local authorities to complete the criteria for building new rural areas, building cultural and civilized urban areas and countryside.
