Scientific Conference on “Local Economic Development in the New Era”

On July 31, Hung Vuong University organized a scientific conference entitled “Local Economic Development in the New Era.” The event attracted a large number of scientists, experts, policymakers, representatives of educational institutions, and local authorities from across the province.

During the conference, delegates presented and discussed a wide range of new research findings while analyzing both theoretical and practical issues related to local economic development in the current context.

The discussions centered on three main themes: growth drivers and resource mobilization for Phu Tho Province’s economic development; digital transformation, innovation in development models, and enhancement of local competitiveness; and green economic development, regional connectivity, and the effective utilization of local strengths and distinctive resources.

The presentations highlighted both the opportunities and challenges facing local economic development in the context of international integration and digital transformation, while proposing numerous solutions, strategic orientations, and recommendations with strong scientific and practical value.

The conference aims to provide a solid scientific foundation for policymaking and the implementation of Phu Tho Province’s economic development objectives in the new development period, meeting the requirements for rapid and sustainable growth in line with the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
