Springtime on Key Projects

Spring is blossoming across Phu Tho, painting a vibrant pink hue over the key projects that are nearing completion in step with the province’s development. From regional transport links and modern urban areas to social welfare projects, all carry the breath of powerful transformation. Every structure and every bridge span bears the mark of relentless effort and the faith of the Party, Government, and People in a breakthrough Phu Tho, stepping firmly into the new year. Journalists from the Phu Tho Newspaper and Radio-Television Station captured the bustling moments at these pivotal sites—where spring exists not just in the sky, but in the urgent working atmosphere and the determination to achieve the province’s socio-economic goals.

The new Phong Chau Bridge, designed and built to be modern, durable, safe, and aesthetically pleasing, opens up new development opportunities for Phu Tho province after the merger. The bridge will completely restore the vital traffic artery of National Highway 32C, shorten travel time, reduce freight transport costs; and promote trade, tourism, and services.

The IC9 interchange in the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway area connects to the Phu Ha Industrial Park.

The Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway project is a strategic transportation project, expected to open up new development opportunities for the Northwest region. Currently, the project is being accelerated to ensure early completion and operation.

The Canh Tang reservoir, one of the largest reservoirs in Vietnam, has been officially handed over and put into operation. The project belongs to the first-level key project group, with strategic significance for water security and agricultural development in Phu Tho and Thanh Hoa provinces.

Unit No. 2 of the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant expansion project was officially and successfully connected to the national power grid on November 14, 2025.

The Yen Lac Regional Medical Center is a key project serving the medical needs of the people.

Tran Phu High School and To Hieu Junior High School have been completed and put into use.
