Starting competitions at the 10th National Phu Dong Health Festival in 2024 - Region I
On May 10, right after the Opening Ceremony of the 10th National Phu Dong Health Festival in 2024 - Region I, the athletes officially entered the competition in 7/11 sports.
According to the arrangement of the Organizing Committee, on the first day of competition, over 1,500 athletes went to 13 provinces including: Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Hoa Binh, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Lai Chau, Son La have entered competitions in 7 events. In particular, Football (opening match), Tug of war, Volleyball were played at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition House; Stick pushing at Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted; Table tennis at Viet Tri Industrial High School; Basketball at Viet Tri Technical High School and Shuttlecock at Viet Tri High School.
It was noted that on the first day of competing in the events at the 10th National Phu Dong Health Festival in 2024 - Region I, the atmosphere at the competition venues was extremely exciting. Teams of athletes participated in the competition with high determination, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, honesty, and nobility under the enthusiastic cheers of a large number of fans.
