The Provincial People’s Committee has issued a document agreeing to the plan to research the idea of constructing the Hung Kings Tower in the area of the Old Central Market, Viet Tri City.

Accordingly, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Phan Trong Tan, signed and issued Document No. 4769/UBND-CNXD, agreeing to the plan to research the idea of building the Hung Kings Tower in the Old Central Market area of Viet Tri City. The tower will serve functions such as public services, cultural space, green areas, and environmental landscaping, aiming to serve the people in the long term. It is designed to have beautiful architectural landscaping and will be a symbolic landmark representing the cultural and historical identity of the Hung Kings era, contributing to the development of Viet Tri City into a festival city connected to the roots of the Vietnamese people.

The Provincial People’s Committee has assigned the Viet Tri City People’s Committee to lead and cooperate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Construction, and other relevant agencies and units to organize a competition for architectural and planning designs for the Hung Kings Tower in the Old Central Market area (Viet Tri City) according to the current regulations. The final report will be submitted to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People’s Committee for consideration and decision before June 30, 2025.

The construction of the Hung Kings Tower will be funded by the state budget, socialized capital, and other legally mobilized funds.
