Countryside Painting
The rice fields in Phung Nguyen and Ban Nguyen communes, Phu Tho province, are glowing golden, while lush green farms herald a season of abundance. The industrious labor of farmers, together with the fertile beauty of the countryside creates a vivid rural painting.
With flat terrain and fertile soil, Ban Nguyen and Phung Nguyen communes have long been considered the “rice granary” of Phu Tho province.
A well-developed transportation system provides the foundation for these communes to boost agricultural development.
When golden grains of rice bend under their own weight, it is time for farmers to harvest joyfully.
Farmers apply mechanization in production to reduce manual labor.
After harvesting, straw is collected by machines and rolled into large bundles.
These bundles of straw are then gathered and used as fodder for livestock.
After harvesting, farmers plant other crops such as corn, squash and sweet potatoes. Local authorities plan to provide partial seed support for models covering two hectares or more, helping farmers expand winter crop production.
Alongside the golden rice fields are vibrant orchards.
During this season, fruit trees are being carefully tended so they can quickly recover after harvest.
Small fruits are wrapped in plastic bags to protect them from pests and diseases.
A prosperous and peaceful rural landscape.
