On April 6 (the 9th day of the third lunar month), at the central stage of the Hung Kings Temple Festival (Hung Kings Temple Historical Site), the Provincial Martial Arts Federation held the Festival of Martial Arts Culture: Returning to the Roots. This event was part of a series of special activities marking the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the Cultural-Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land, Year of the At Ty (2025).
The organizing committee presents awards to participating units.
The program featured the participation of 18 units from across the country. Delegates and visitors were treated to impressive martial arts performances that were powerful, graceful, decisive, and heroic—creating a cultural space rich in historical tradition. These displays embodied the bravery, wisdom, and martial spirit of the Vietnamese people.
Alongside the martial arts performances, cultural and artistic groups also contributed to the program with traditional ao dai showcases, high-end fashion ao dai collections, folk dances, and modern dances—enhancing the overall celebration of Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.
The program featured a large number of martial arts students.
The Festival of Martial Arts Culture provided an opportunity for martial arts schools and disciplines to exchange experiences, promote learning, and foster the development of martial arts. It also responded to the national campaign “All people practice physical training following the example of Great Uncle Ho” and the movement “Healthy to build a career, protect the country”.
The organizing committee receives congratulatory flowers from individuals and organizations.
The program also aimed to inspire a deeper love for martial arts, reaffirm the place of traditional martial arts in the cultural fabric of the nation, and strengthen the connection between sports, culture, and tourism in the Ancestral Land. It promoted cooperation and cultural exchange between Phu Tho and provinces and cities nationwide, as well as with international friends—leaving a lasting impression on visitors returning to the sacred land of origin.
Below are some highlights from the Festival of Martial Arts Culture:
Powerful and captivating martial arts demonstrations by students and martial artists from various units.
