On November 20, Hung Vuong Gifted High School in Viet Tri City held a ceremony to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2024) and to receive the Government’s Flag of Emulation.
With over 40 years of development and under the guidance of local leaders, Hung Vuong Gifted High School moved to a new, modern, and spacious campus at the end of 2022. For the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 144 staff members, including teachers, with 100% of them holding professional qualifications, and over 60% with qualifications above the required standard. Among the staff, five teachers hold doctoral degrees. The school’s teaching staff is known for being talented, creative, dedicated, and passionate about constantly innovating and enhancing their professional expertise.
In its more than 40 years, Hung Vuong Gifted High School has produced 22 students who have won prizes at international and regional Olympiads. Specifically, from 2019 to 2024 (six consecutive years), the school has won 10 medals and certificates, including 2 International Silver Medals (in Biology and Informatics), 3 International Bronze Medals (in Biology), 1 International Certificate of Merit, 1 Gold Medal, 2 Silver Medals in the European-Asia Pacific Regional Informatics Olympiad, and 1 Silver Medal in the International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad.
During the ceremony, Hung Vuong Gifted High School was honored to receive the Government’s Flag of Emulation for the 2023-2024 school year. Additionally, the school’s Trade Union received the Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and four individuals were awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training for their outstanding achievements in the “Innovation and Creativity in Management, Teaching, and Learning” movement in the 2023-2024 school year.
