Learning and Experiencing Phu Tho Xoan Singing Linked with School Tourism in 2024
On November 8, at Lai Len Temple, Kim Duc Commune, Viet Tri City, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism organized the “Learning and Experiencing Phu Tho Xoan Singing Linked with School Tourism” program in 2024.
During the program, delegates and 150 students from Viet Tri City participated in various activities: offering incense at Lai Len Temple; visiting, learning about, and listening to an introduction of Lai Len Temple and Phu Tho Xoan singing; practicing Xoan singing with artisans; experiencing traditional cake making and playing folk games.
Also, as part of the program, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism held a seminar to exchange experiences on organizing and implementing school tourism programs linked with learning and experiencing Phu Tho Xoan singing. The seminar involved representatives from the Provincial Tourism Association, travel agencies, educational institutions, media units, and artists, as well as photographers.
Through these activities, the program aimed to promote and advertise the cultural heritage of Phu Tho Xoan singing, and develop school tourism tours in the province, contributing to the development of tourism activities at cultural tourism sites across the city, and serving visitors.
