As the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse 2026) approaches, Nhan Vuc flower village in Xuan Lang Commune has become more vibrant than ever. Across the sprawling fields, the brilliant yellow of “Diamond” chrysanthemums has begun to bloom, signaling a promising Tet season for the local farmers.

Nhan Vuc is renowned for its Diamond chrysanthemums. Every year, growers can cultivate 2 to 3 crops, with each cycle lasting about 2 to 3 months, allowing for continuous land rotation. Among these, the most vital and significant crop remains the one dedicated to the Lunar New Year.

From the 8th to the 10th month of the lunar calendar each year, Nhan Vuc farmers are busy sowing seeds and meticulously tending to every row of flowers.

To ensure the flowers bloom precisely for Tet, growers must apply sophisticated care techniques and closely monitor every growth stage of the plants.

At this time, the Diamond chrysanthemums are in full bloom, entering a harvest period that will last until the Lunar New Year. A lively atmosphere fills the flower fields as the harvest gets into full swing.

Traders from various regions are flocking to the gardens to purchase the flowers directly.

According to local farmers, during last year's Tet season, the price of Diamond chrysanthemums fluctuated between 3,000 and 4,000 VND per stem, earning families a profit of approximately 30 million VND per sao (360m2). Entering this year's season, the community hopes prices will increase and remain stable, boosting incomes for a more prosperous Tet holiday.

These days, the golden chrysanthemum rows of Nhan Vuc are in their most bustling harvest of the year, promising to bring the fragrance and colors of Spring to every corner of the country.
