Phu Ninh: Inauguration of Projects Commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the District’s Re-establishment

On August 15th, the People’s Committee of Phu Ninh District held an inauguration ceremony for the upgraded and renovated Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center of Phu Ninh District and the upgraded P2 District Road (from Vang Bridge to Ha Giap Kindergarten) in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the district’s re-establishment (September 1, 1999 - September 1, 2024).

The civil construction project is of level III scale and includes: the construction of a new three-story classroom building, a three-story administrative building, the renovation and repair of a two-story, four-room classroom building, and additional auxiliary items. The completed project has ensured the necessary infrastructure for the school’s teaching and learning activities, contributing to the improvement of educational facilities in Phu Ninh District.

The project to renovate and upgrade the P2 District Road (from Vang Bridge to Ha Giap Kindergarten), funded by the People’s Committee of Phu Ninh District, has a total investment of nearly 15 billion VND. It is a level IV transportation project with a total length of 2.033 km, started in June 2022, and completed in March 2024, nine months ahead of the approved project schedule. The road’s completion has met the needs of transportation, goods exchange, and the completion of a synchronized transportation network, contributing to the fulfillment of transportation criteria in the New Rural Development Program of Phu Ninh District.

At the event, Comrade Nguyen Thi To Uyen – a member of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the District Party Committee, along with other district leaders from the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and various departments, cut the ribbon and inaugurated the two projects.
