Phu Ninh: Organizes Volleyball and Tug-of-War Tournament to Celebrate 25th Anniversary of District Re-establishment
On August 16, Phu Ninh District held a volleyball and tug-of-war tournament to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the district’s re-establishment (September 1, 1999 – September 1, 2024).
The tournament featured 250 athletes, including 8 men’s volleyball teams, 7 women’s volleyball teams, and 8 tug-of-war teams. The competition covered three events: tug-of-war, men’s volleyball, and women’s volleyball. After a day of enthusiastic, fair, and determined play, the athletes provided the audience with many exciting plays, beautiful passes, and clearly demonstrated team spirit and solidarity.
At the end of the tournament, the organizers awarded first, second, and third prizes to the teams that excelled in the competitions.
