On May 6, 2026, the Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 1403/QD-UBND regarding the reception and management assignment of the Tam Dao National Park area, which was adjusted by the Minister of Agriculture and Environment to be managed by Phu Tho Province.

Accordingly, Phu Tho Province has received the status quo of resources, assets, records, boundaries, maps, and relevant documents for the 663.657-hectare area in compliance with Decision No. 1159/QD-BNNMT (dated April 3, 2026) issued by the Minister of Agriculture and Environment regarding the adjustment of boundaries and area of Tam Dao National Park.
The province has subsequently assigned the status quo of these resources, assets, records, boundaries, maps, and relevant documents to the People’s Committees of Dao Tru, Dai Dinh, and Binh Tuyen communes, as well as the Phu Tho Forestry Company and other relevant units for direct management and protection in accordance with the law. A total of 554.967 hectares has been assigned to the People’s Committees of Dao Tru, Dai Dinh, and Binh Tuyen communes, specifically: 163.667 hectares to Dao Tru Commune, 253.55 hectares to Dai Dinh Commune, and 137.75 hectares to Binh Tuyen Commune.
40.99 hectares assigned to the Phu Tho Forestry Company within the territory of Dao Tru Commune.
Regarding the 67.7 hectares that the Prime Minister has authorized for land-use purpose conversion to implement 13 works and projects, the units currently managing and utilizing these projects must coordinate with the respective Commune People’s Committees and relevant agencies. They are responsible for updating cadastral records, registering land, and ensuring management and use in compliance with legal regulations.
